Bold Design Meets Coastal Luxury: Custom Basement Bar Remodel
This custom basement bar remodel in Mars, PA blends bold design elements with warm, coastal details, transforming a simple basement into a statement entertainment space. Designed for both hosting and unwinding, this custom basement bar remodel combines modern craftsmanship with organic texture for a look that’s every bit as inviting as it is impressive.
Inspired by Nature: The Epoxy Live-Edge Bar Top
The showpiece of this design is the epoxy bar countertop, where rich wood grain meets a stunning river of blue and teal. This artistic surface set the tone for the entire bar’s color palette, inspiring the mix of navy cabinetry, brass hardware, and teal hexagon backsplash. The result is a harmonious balance of warmth and energy that's both bold, but warm and welcoming.
Navy Blue Cabinets and Custom Wine Storage
The navy blue cabinets, from Legacy Crafted Cabinets, anchor the space with depth and sophistication, while their brushed brass pulls and fixtures add an upscale finish. Glass-front upper cabinets display barware beautifully, and the custom wine wall keeps every bottle within easy reach, while adding an eye-catching design touch.
Below, the navy blue cabinets continue with more wine storage. Together, these elements offer both form and function — keeping the space organized without sacrificing style.
Artful Accents and Open Shelving
Above the bar sink, a floating wood shelf provides the perfect spot for favorite spirits or décor. The subtle Tesora Quartz counters, installed by Classic Rock Fabrication, allow the vibrant teal hexagon tile backsplash to shine. This unique tile adds texture and light reflection, giving the bar a dynamic focal point that shines under recessed lighting. The brass sink ties perfectly into the bronze grout between the tiles.
Every material was chosen to create contrast and cohesion — a true hallmark of Bespoke Kitchen and Bath's interior design.
A Bar Designed to Entertain
Whether mixing cocktails for a crowd or enjoying a quiet night in, this bar was built to impress and designed to last. Durable surfaces, timeless finishes, and intentional lighting make it as functional as it is beautiful. It’s proof that a custom basement remodel can be both luxurious and livable.
