Custom Home Bar with a Coastal Vibe in Mars
Basement Bar Remodel in Brass and Champagne Gold
There's something about a home bar that gets people excited in a way other rooms don't. This one, tucked into a home in Mars, was designed to feel like a little escape without ever leaving the house.
I designed the cabinetry in a deep, dark blue that immediately sets a coastal tone, the kind of color that feels rich in the evening and calm during the day. Against that, the Tesora Tuscano countertop brought in warmth and movement.
Satin brass hardware from Hardware Resources and a champagne gold Delta faucet picked up on that same warm undertone, and a hexagon mosaic backsplash gave the wall behind the bar texture and interest without pulling focus from the cabinetry.
What makes a bar like this work isn't just the individual pieces. It's how the color, the stone, and the metals all get chosen together so nothing feels like an afterthought.
